Avery Ballet has been training dancers over a quarter century!
Classes for both new and experienced dancers are offered a full schedule of options to reach their fullest potential.

Summer Program @ Avery Ballet
June 6 - June 25 Dance & Choreography Project
Our schedule will remain the same through June.
*Student choreographers from the upper school will be setting dances on students of all levels that will be shown for parents/friends on Thursday June 23, Saturday, June 25.
Special JUNE Workshops
June 13 – 16 Gnomeo & Juliet
4-Day Workshop for 4-6 yrs 3:00a – 5:30p
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
From the 2011 animated film that is a riff on Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, students will explore movement to the soundtrack music from Sir Elton John. The story line, appropriate for this age group – tells the story of forbidden love between blue and red garden gnomes and teaching feuding neighbors to live together in peace and harmony. Students will also be creating a craft that will tie into the story line - which they will show their parents Thursday, June 16!

June 13 -16 Enhanced Instruction w/ Mrs. Avery
Focused technique for Level C-D (Int) 3:00 – 4:15p
An opportunity for Level C-D dancers to receive intense, focused Instruction with Mrs. Avery. Class size is limited!

Registration after May 15: $120
4-day Intensive $100 WITH June tuition.
Studio will close for break beginning on June 26
Avery Ballet Summer Program
Summer Intensive begins (for Level B) July 5th
July 5-8 Focused Intensive for Level B
T, W, TH & F 9:30a – 12:20p
This intensive is developed for Level B students. A daily focus will be on building a stronger foundation in ballet. The second class of each day will cover different aspects of dance, music, acting and presentation. Class size is limited!
* Interested students must pre-register by June 15.

July 11 – 14th "Romeo and Juliet" 4-Day Workshop (7-10 yr 1:00p – 4:00p No Experience Necessary
Students will explore movement to the music of Prokofiev, as well as recreate the infamous balcony scene Romeo & Juliet, and of course fight scenes! Students will recreate scenes incorporating timing, jumping and choreography with their “sponge” swords! Students will also make a craft that ties into the theme of this exciting ballet. Parents are invited to attend on Thursday, July 14 to see what they’ve worked on throughout the week!

July 18-22 Little Swan's" 5-Day Workshop for 4-6 yr 9:00a - 11:30a No Experience Necessary
Based on the famous ballet, Swan Lake, young students will be exploring movement through the beautiful music of Tchaikovsky, hear the story behind the ballet and create a craft that ties into the theme of this glorious ballet. Parents are invited to attend on Friday, July 22 to take a complimentary ballet class while their child is preparing for their in studio presentation of what they learned throughout the week!

July 18, 20 -22 Adult Ballet Workshop No age limit! 9:00a - 10:15a
*Adult Ballet will continue to be offered at 4:30 -5:30p on Tuesdays! Please register by June 15.
