A teacher of ballet perfects her students’ art of movement, builds their character stronger and more disciplined, and develops their appreciation for the world of dance as well as the world around them.
Built upon powerful foundations, nurtured with international experience, and strengthened by achievement and recognition, Lisa’s background in ballet is her textbook for training future professionals.

Lisa’s career in classical ballet began in upstate New York at the Botsford School of Dance and the Burhyte School of Ballet. She trained with the New York City Ballet after receiving a scholarship to the New York State Summer School of the Arts.
Bohdan Borys (principal dancer at the Grande Theatre Ballet of Warsaw, Poland) selected Lisa to receive private training and offered her a soloist position with the Warsaw Ballet upon completion of her training with him.
Lisa later accepted the position of principal dancer with Liabrane Dance Ensemble in New York. Here she developed her teaching and choreographic career, which led to various positions with prominent schools throughout the U.S., including the Botsford School of Dance (NY), Contra Costa Ballet and Ballet Diablo (CA) and several schools in Virginia.
Lisa specializes in training and developing dancers in the art of classical ballet and setting traditional and original choreography. Her experience is enhanced by certification in Labanotation, extensive training in the Pilates Method, and studies in injury prevention.
Lisa teaches all levels of ballet technique, including pointe and variations, pas de deux, and character classes. She also offers private coaching.
Dancers whom Lisa has trained are engaged in programs of higher education, enrolled in professional ballet schools, and are performing with dance companies throughout the U.S. and abroad.
She looks forward to training many more.
